What Wizshot does with your references

Combine a character, a product and a location in one shot. References decide who and what appears, so the video starts from your material instead of a blank prompt.

How Wizshot performed in our tests

Before launch we ran two blind evaluations of Wizshot against other leading video models on Wizstar: one on real user requests, and one on the scenarios we expected it to handle best.

Strongest at animation and 3D

Animation and 3D was the category where Wizshot led every model we compared it with, helped by how closely it followed prompts.

On par with Seedance 2.0 for product videos

In both rounds, Wizshot produced the same share of usable product videos as Seedance 2.0.

Stable picture and sound

Visual quality and audio-visual sync held up consistently, including on long prompts with actions, emotions and effects.

Where to take extra care

  • Product details and physics, such as pouring liquids or opening boxes, can drift. Check the product in every take.
  • Scenes with several interacting characters, or stories built from storyboard grids, were hard for every model we tested. Generate them one shot at a time.
  • Very long prompts may be followed only in part. Put the most important details first.

How we tested

Test sets
70 real user requests (30 product, 40 creative) and 45 scenario prompts covering products, animation and 3D, film and effects, realistic people and short stories
Review
Blind review against other leading video models
Scoring
Each video was checked for visual quality, prompt adherence, audio-visual sync, consistency and physics, and counted as usable only if it passed every check

Results come from internal tests of a pre-release build and describe usable-rate comparisons, not a full quality ranking. Your results may vary.

Get better results

These tips come from what tripped models up in our tests.

  1. Use references to lock the subject, product or style, and say in the prompt which image is which.
  2. Name the action, camera move, lighting and aspect ratio.
  3. Break complex stories into several short shots.
  4. Check product details, physics and character consistency after each take.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Wizshot 1.0?

Wizshot 1.0 is a reference-to-video model developed by Wizstar. It delivers Seedance 2.0-level quality at the lowest price among the video models in the generator. You add reference images and a prompt, and it generates a 5–15 second 720p video with sound.

How much does Wizshot 1.0 cost?

Wizshot 1.0 is the lowest-priced model in the AI video generator. The generator shows the credit cost before you generate, so you can compare it with other models.

What can I use as a reference?

Product, character, scene or style images. You can add up to 9 images in JPEG, PNG or WEBP format, and at least one image is required. Use images you have the right to use.

What output settings are available?

Wizshot 1.0 generates 720p videos in 9:16 (default) or 16:9, from 5 to 15 seconds in 1-second steps (default 15 seconds). You can generate 1 to 4 videos at a time (default 1).

Does Wizshot 1.0 have native audio?

Yes. Wizshot 1.0 generates native audio together with the video, so each clip comes with sound that follows the scene. There is nothing to add afterward.

How long can my prompt be?

Up to 2,000 characters. Say which reference sets the subject or product, what should happen, how the camera moves and how the scene is lit.

What is Wizshot 1.0 best at?

In our tests it was strongest at animation and 3D, and matched Seedance 2.0 on product videos. Scenes with several interacting characters and detailed product handling may need a few attempts.

Can I use Wizshot 1.0 without credits?

Yes, with an eligible plan. During the launch offer, annual Starter and Plus members get Unlimited Wizshot 1.0 for a set number of days shown on the plans page, and Pro members get it for as long as their subscription is active. Days start counting when your payment succeeds. Unlimited tasks may wait longer at busy times, and you can have up to 5 Unlimited videos in progress.

How do credits and commercial use work?

The generator shows the credit cost before you generate. Commercial use follows the current Wizstar terms, and you must have the rights to every reference you upload.
